This is a picture of my Mom and Dad. Dad called Mom Judy instead of Julia. Why I do not know,Thats a question I never thought to ask. Her family called her Julie, We called her Mom.
three sisters,she was the baby sister. Starting top left.Wilma,Thelma,Alleen,and Julia. Momma told me about the times her and aunt Wilma would get Grandma's broken dishes and play house.They would go down near the pond and get mud to make cakes with.They would use grasses and weed seeds to decorate the cakes. It was a competition to see who made the prettiest.Momma was really a little tomboy when she was young. Her brothers could attest to that.Then she grew up and became a Lady and a Momma :)
my little sisters back porch enjoying the day. It was July 22,1998. Dad had past away on November 15,1997. Momma left us on July 24,1999. Little do we know how time seems to slip away. I try to remember now to hold dear,the time I spend with my Children and Grandbabies. Because like they say, ((((( If tomorrow never comes.))))) At least today was a good day. :) As I find more pictures,Mom's tree might grow. I hope you enjoyed My Mom's Family Tree. God Bless
